Brussels, October 2007 – WingField Corporation N.V., will develop Mallorca’s most prominent new resort and spa in Port Soller which will be operated by Jumeirah, the Dubai based luxury international hotel group and member of Dubai Holding.

The hotel development was acquired from WingField Corporation by Deka Immobilien GmbH for WestInvest Interselect fund and will be leased by the Jumeirah Group under a long term agreement.

This exclusive resort is being developed by Brussels based WingField Corporation N.V. with plans to be the most luxurious hotel in Spain.  The  local architects for the project are Taller Projectes Arquitectura.  Interior design is being done by the renowned AngloDutch design firm FG stijl who won the prestigious "Prix-Villegiature Paris" for Best Interior Design in 2005.  The partnership of excellence created between Jumeirah, Deka Immobilien, WingField and the Architects is expected to redefine the luxury resort standard throughout Mallorca and the rest of Spain.

Jumeirah Port Soller, Mallorca, is a five star luxury resort with a spectacular location on the cliffs of Port Soller, overlooking the port and the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel will encompass 120 spacious and luxurious sea or harbour-facing guestrooms and suites, all with a terrace or balcony.

The resort, which is scheduled to open in early 2010, will feature extensive, state-of-the-art conference and banqueting facilities, two swimming pools, as well as a prestigious Talise spa and wellness center of 2000m². Included in the hotel amenities will be unique restaurants and bars, each with al fresco dining options that will reflect the commitment to quality and innovation which will be evident throughout the development.

Port Soller is considered to be one of the most attractive towns in Spain and a serious contender in the luxury travel market. The up and coming destination is located in a tranquil valley famous for its orange groves and olive trees and is surrounded by mountains, making it a perfect luxury holiday getaway. The unique nature of this development will further enhance the destination’s global standing and will create a memorable experience for visitors to the island.
