Henk, originally from The Netherlands, has 26 years experience in the hotel, tourism, and leisure industry. During his career in hotel management and development, he has lived and worked in Belgium, the Netherlands, Morocco, Greece, Mauritius, Spain and Portugal, and has worked for companies such as Ahold nv, Bass PLC, and Sun International. By the end of his tenure at Sun, Henk was Managing Director within the Sun International Group, overseeing the general management of Sun Park International Ltd. and the company's assets abroad encompassing 14,000 beds. In 1994, Henk founded his own consulting company, Archipel n.v., providing advisory services in concept, project development and management for the hotel and hospitality industry. He started collaborating with WingField in 2002 and joined the company shortly there after. Henk earned a BA degree in Finance, Economics and General Management from the International Institute for Hospitality Management, The Hague. He is fluent in Dutch, French, English, and German.
